Bullet the WonderDog and other Miscellaneous Pics

Intoducing......Bullet the Wonder Dog. Half Husky and half German Shepard. Gaurenteed to scare off all possible cats, rodents, and burglers! If you haven't clued in yet.....we got a new puupy!!!! Yeah for the kids...Not so yeah for me. Nothing says "mans best friend" like a chewed on shoe, towel, hat, blanket...stair...wall....etc! If you noticed it is the puppy from a couple of previous posts. The kids are so excited...they can barely contain it! Dakota won't let it off the lease....she drags it everywhere. (did I mention that she DRAGS it!) Every kid needs a puppy though right?

While we were up in Idaho, we got to help Blake out with his prom date with Rosa. We set him up a nice romantic, candle light, Subway dinner (their choice). Then we all took off for a while so they could eat without all the heckling and teasing that I am sure they would have endured had we stuck around. Don't they clean up nice?

"WARNING: Your brain is about to be over stimulated by a whole lot of pictures....do not go any further unless that is what you want, of course!"

Now to the other miscellaneous pics! These are just some random pics I thought you all might enjoy. Well really I just wanted to post them...so anyways, back to the pics. Some of them are pics of our place in Idaho and some are of the kids playing. Hope you enjoy!

Yes, he is NAKED and that is a pink purse!

I think I will title this one, "A Walk in Time." What do you think?

The Annual Midnight (Not really midnight) Easter Egg Hunt!

This was the ultimate Easter for us this year. I don't think the partying has stopped yet. It started out with us going and getting Dakota friday night. The next day we went to Grandma and Grandpa Boomers and played like crazy. They have 2 new litters of puppies and my cousin Jason brought another 8 week old puppy down from Canada for my mom. So all the kids mauled the puppies like crazy! Dakota was in Heaven!!!! Later that night we ate a ton of food (thanks to Joce) stuffed eggs and the adults went out and hid them. When we got back we got the kids bundled up and gave them all a bucket and flashlight. Then the hunt was on! We do this every year and have a blast! Easter is bigger then Christmas around here. Sunday morning we checked out our Easter baskets and then we all met up and Grandma and Grandpa Boomers house again for our traditional creamed eggs on toast breakfast! It was awesome! Later on that day we had to take Dakota back, so we loaded up and drove over the mountain. We had such a fun Easter and can't wait for next year! We are so blessed to have a wonderful brother that would give his life so that we may return to live with our Father in Heaven some day! That in it self is the most awesome Easter gift any of us as ever been given!

This is a little dark but it gives you somewhat of an idea to how many eggs were stuffed. There were eggs hidden in the trees and off the the right and left of this shot as well. Not to mention there was candy strewn all over the ground with the eggs.

This as we were laying down the rules and the boundaries. All the kids were so excited they couldn't keep still....so this is the best we could get for a pic of our two kids!

The Easter bunny came. The night before Dakota had to sprinkle some special Easter bunny grass outside so that the Easter bunny could find his way to our house. She was so excited to see that he had made it to our house. We ended up having to put everything up high though because Oakley was eating everything in sight!

This is how tired Dakota was after all the Easter hub-bub! We were all sitting outside talking and she crawled right up on the rack of the 4-wheeler and curled up in James' coat. How she didn't sweat to death is beyond me...it was hot out there. I only was out there for about and hour maybe two and I got so fried!

More of Oakley

With as cold and WINDY as it has been we have spent a lot of time indoors. On the rare occasion that it is nice outside we have managed to bundle up and venture outback for a short 4-wheeler ride. Anyways, here are some more pics of what Oakley was been up to....and if you want to know what I have been up to....well that one is pretty easy, because it involves me being at least a step or two behind whatever Oakley is doing.

Oakley and James doing one of their favorite things!

Oakley loves big boy underwear! He found these in the laundry I was folding and put them on all by himself. It was so cute! I couldn't not let him wear them. So he spent the day as Captian Underoo!

Oakley thinks he is such a big boy now. He crawls up on the chair and run the mouse and types on the keyboard just like Mommy and Daddy! He has done this sooooo much lately I have finally started closing the door to the office.

If this isn't a blackmail picture for when he is older.... ha ha ha!

And finally, Oakley's first goose egg. (This pic doesn't do it justice at all) It has gone down a ton. Right after he turfed it in the kitchen his lump was huge....I didn't know whether to take him to the hospital or stay at home. I called Joce and she told me to watch him and that he was probably fine. She was right! He was back to his normal self 2 minutes after it happened. The sad thing is we were at Sonja's house and he took a spill on the cement and has a rasberry on his chin. I bet people think I beat my child when they see him. James says we are going to have to get Oakley a helmet! If he keeps this up, it probably wouldn't hurt!!!

My sweet innocent darling boy!

Okay...Okay....those weren't the words I used to decribe him on some of the events about to be shown....to tell you the truth it was the complete opposite I think with a few explisitives (I realize I need to work on my potty mouth....thing is I was taught well at a very young age...and it has stuck ever since!) Anyways Oakley has been all boy this week and I thought that I would show you some...just some of the things he has been up to. This is more for posterity's sake, but you all might be somewhat amused.

Oakley likes to open Dakota's closet doors and lock him self inside. This is a pic I took while he was trying to get out...which is very difficult since the dresser and toys are in his way.

Oakley wanted to go outside, so we told him to get his boots....this is what he went and got!

I really didn't want to cook the other night, so I called James and told him to bring something home. While we were waiting for him to get home Oakley got hungry, so he crawled in my cupboard and helped himself to some chips. This picture doesn't even to the mess or the cuteness justice. Needless to say....my cupboard still smells like sourcream and onion chips! yuck!!!

This is Oakley helping me put my grocery's away! Yes the bottle's he is packing are full. He helped me carry them to the laundry room. That is a lot of muscles for such a little guy. I guess we don't call him Bruiser for nothing!

I was putting the food away from dinner last night and Oakley was wanting held, so I gave him the lion and thought he was going to play with it in the living room. I had only turned my back 20 seconds when I heard the unmistakable sound of toilet water. I ran in there and this is what I found....good thing I was on the phone with my mom....because she told me I could just throw it all in the washer. ( I would have just chucked it.) So that is what we did and everything is, thankfully, good as new!

And last but not least this is his red headed temper coming out! He was so mad that I wouldn't let him play with the lion after the bath he had given it, he cried for a good 20 minutes after.

I can honestly say that some days he makes me crazy, but I wouldn't change it for anything. I love this little guy sooooo much! Words really can't express the love I have for him. These little things just add character to him! So for now....I am just going to LOVE it up!

Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!!!!

As you can tell....today is our anniversary! I just wanted to publicly tell James how much I love him. I love you more with each passing day and am happy with the decision we made 3 years ago! Thanks for being such an awesome husband, friend, and companion! You are the best father and husband a girl could ask for. Thanks for allowing me to stay home while you do what it takes to keep things together! Love you forever!!!

Top of the mornin' to ya!!!!!

Once again we had another great weekend in Nounan Idaho! Dakota got a visit from the tooth fairy....which brought her a whopping $4.00. I can't believe the price for a tooth these days....all I ever got was a quarter! :) Actually I think I got a $1.00 for my molars! Anyways....we had a good time feeding the animals and going on horse rides. Dakota even got to go to a pajama party for learning her first artical of faith! Way to go sis! We found out Oakley looks and acts a lot like Jerry Lee Lewis when he plays the piano...not to mention he makes a pretty cute blonde!

If you look really close you can see her tooth on James' finger. Notice the gap in her teeth on the top.....she has said many times in the past that she lost a tooth in her sleep...hence the gap! Really she hasn't but it is a cute story when she tells it!

Us getting ready to feed!

James and Dakota going for a ride.

Oakley jamming on the piano

Who is that under those blonde curls?

My litlle escape artist!

Yesterday we were at church minding our business in the nursery when I had to take a screaming kid to her mother! I told the other adults I was leaving and met the undisclosed mother in the hallway. My back to the nursery the whole time. When I went back I noticed right off the bat that Oakley was missing. Feeling a little panicked I asked "Where's Oakley?" The rest of the adults all replied..."He followed you...didn't you see him?" At that point real panic set in and I began running around the church looking for my little jail breaker! I finally found him in the other wards sacrement meeting. Luckily he had found my little niece and she was keeping a good eye on him. I can't tell you the relief I felt when I found him. It is funny to think about it all now...but I was one scared mom yesterday!

I think it ranks right up there when my little brother got lost (took off) at the state fair...the Winns ought to remember that one! he he!

Anyways we are all safe and happy now...Thankfully!!!!
